Year 6 visited Coleshill Estate, home to a top secret training facility from World War 2. With Winston Churchill worried about the German army invading, he trained normal men to become excellent soldiers to cause havoc and chaos.
The Year 6 children went down into observational bunkers, practised camouflaging in the estate grounds and trained to read secret messages. They had an amazing time and learned so much about their topic, World War 2.
